Abbas Yousuf is a Bahraini Writer and Artist

Born in 1960 in Bahrain.

He has received his Bachelor’s degree in Arabic literature from Qatar University in 1982. He works in the areas of painting, calligraphy, print making and bookmaking.

Abbas has been a writer in the field of art since 1993. He has published a large number of books like “To the Sea by a butterfly‘s wing” and “With a colour of fire with a Spray of metal”.

He has conducted numerous solo exhibitions in various places between the year 1994 and 2018.

His artwork has had the privilege of being displayed in many museums and cultural centres around the world.

He’s also been the winner of many prestigious awards since 2014.
